"The Guild does not provide crisis or intervention services, nor can we engage in therapeutic counseling via e-mail communications. We do respond to general inquiries; however, information provided in replies does not constitute therapeutic advice. Individuals, organizations, or agencies that are suggested as follow-up to assist further clarification of inquiries does not imply that The Guild endorses those resources."
The LGBTQ-Affirmative Psychotherapist Guild of Utah is a Utah-based, grassroots organization of licensed mental-health professionals and students-in-training. We share a collaborative commitment to make affirmative culturally competent therapy available for anyone.
Affirmative therapy for LGBTQ individuals is based on the premise that LGBTQ and heterosexual identities are equally valid.
