The LGBTQ-affirmative Psychotherapist Guild of Utah maintains a directory of LGBTQ-affirmative Psychotherapists.

All therapists on this list describe themselves as affirming of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning issues. Our organization does not specifically endorse providers on the list. These counselors vary in their counseling approaches and in their level of experience and knowledge working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender, and questioning clients. Most counselors on this list work in Salt Lake City, and a few are located throughout Utah.

It is advisable that individuals seeking therapy ask questions of prospective counselors prior to scheduling an appointment. Click here to see a list of potential questions to ask.
